The Chicken or The Egg
At Jake's, it all started with the egg! Our founder Kervin "Jake" Jacob began delivering eggs door-to-door in 1946. From selling only 11 dozen his first week, Mr. Jacob began acquiring other businesses that allowed him to grow his product lines. Today, Jake's Finer Foods is a full-service broadline distributor servicing foodservice customers throughout Texas and western Louisiana.
Our innovation and expansion continues with third generation, family leadership. Utilizing our strengths and resources, Jake's Logistics leverages our experience, fleet and facility to provide our customers efficient and effective 3PL supply chain solutions. After all, who better to understand your needs and challenges than a company who has lived it for more than 76 years!
